Hi all Battery has been disconnected for around a month whilst I was working on the D2, the sunroof will now not open, fuses ok, any thoughts ?

When you've done the first one, the rest are obviously the same. I did the rears including removing and replacing in less than an hour, which included a cuppa :rolleyes:

Well after buying my D2 V8 and then being told by my local LR specialist it needs more than £2k's worth of work doing I decided, with great support on here to tackle the jobs myself, which included: 1. Front renewal of ACE Ram and torsion bar as bushes were shot - I found a second hand one...

Can you explain why you raised the header tank ? is it just due to gravity? Only as I need to do mine :(

Well, Rave says I have to remove the EGR system from the cylinder head, but i'm buggered on how you're supposed to get a spanner in that space :-/ BTW, does anyone know what the size is ? also i'm assuming its the two big nuts to release ? Any help would be appreciated :D

Ok, so as my D2 is tilted from the front at about 15 deg there is now water gathering towards the rear sunroof. After looking at RAVE as I was thinking about putting new sunroof seals in, the prospect of removing the headlining is one job to many, so I'm thinking about sealing the sun roofs...
