Its confusing isnt it, mines a 93 200Tdi on an L plate. If you look at the hubs, the rear ones look different to the front same as the 300Tdi's, but before the rear hubs look exact to the front hubs.

Its the same up here, when it snows bloomin hundreds of landies come out the woodwork. Even saw a disco pickup today.:D

Mines a late 93 and its on discs with 24 spline. Well I assume its 24 spline, looks exact to the 300Tdi's. Do the TD5 axles not have a P38 Diff in the back or something?

Dont have any fancy computers on the Defender, apart from the frost warning system, informs you when you nearly pull the door handles off trying to open the door. And you have to use a mallet to get the push button to go in. Been reports that its been -29 somewhere further north than here.

Looks a decent enough motor. Obviously you would need a good look underneath. Looks clean from the outside tho.

Yeah the Sparco Strut brace is a good one, not too expensive either but blooming thick and solid. Hehe, sport maplight is nice but they go for a lot now dont they. Yep, its diamond schwartz. Tech1's are very cool but even more rotten than most tech2's it seems so hard to find.lol.

Aye, the 318iS is good fun and they do handle well, mine was the M42 before I changed it. Bought it over 5 years ago. Was factory specced with the tech2 kit on it. Best off roader imo, Defender and V8 is a very good combo. Bags of power and if you bash anything then you can just replace the panels instead of trashing the shell on the likes of a Disco.
