looks ok - but they'd not put pictures of the rusty bits in an advert, no harm in looking, better to spend £200 looking than £2000 on a nail

patience

this is gonna go on 4ever.. took me 3 months to find mine.. looked and loads.. but i looked and looked and looked... not talked and talked and talked... spend some muny on fuel and go out and look.. and drive em.. compare em.. o.m.g!!!

Is that all:rolleyes:, when my 1st Disco got written off it took me 9 months to find the current one ... lessons learnt from the 1st blind purchase:doh: She has to date though cost more in getting her running spot on than what I paid for her:doh: ... but I am a perfectionist:D (LR obsessive personality)

i know it can take time, but time isnt really on my side as im pretty much without a car in ice and snow and i want to ground the beamer as much as possible for winter, i just pray this silver one isnt a no go and is in fact nice as it seems and rust is minimal

the interiors nice mind :D :D :D

iS is very rare i believe. must be worth a few quid.?

son swapped his witha genuine mtech kit onnit forra RS cabby:rolleyes:

Looks lovely, got one of these myself with an M50 in it. Immense cars.

cheers lads, i do love it !! fairly rare the is and has a cult following and they are sought after ,m42 16v twin over head cam engine, you dont see them on the roads ever, rarley see an e30 unless theres a local one you know, mines fantastic condition and drives superbly with a very good engine, mint interior, everything works, very clean, immesnse load of history and reciepts, value £2500 or so, got a mint imaculate 100% complete tool kit, working glove box bmw torch, bmw 1st aid kit, jack, wheel choc and spanner, warning triangle the lot, even got the original bill of sale  £16995 it cost original buyer, and every owner has well cared for it, shes a nice one , hence i dont really want to drive it this winter in ice/salt etc and want the disco inferno

dripper...to be honest mtech body kits do devalue an is a bit, as the kit belongs on the 325i sport , tech 1 (older chromie 80s style inc the same rear spoiler as on my car) or tech 2 which is the 90s more rounded looking with big cosworth type looking rear spoiler, is is an mtech car of sorts..having an mtech check cloth interior (same as the e30 m3 had) , mtech 1 steering wheel, gear knob ,unique is front lip spoiler, bbs alloys, as standard , some call it the baby m3

fantastic cars the e30,delivers a real driving expirience and a pokey 140bhp engine in these makes it light, it out performs a standard 320i and agreat around town e30, good on fuel unlike a much heavier front ended 320i , but not as quick, or as juicy as a 325i , its a nice choice and nippy and go kart like compared to a heavy 6pot engine, and the upgrade of bilsteins/ebach suspension makes mine a lovely tight drive, quiet smooth engine, shes nice

Aye, the 318iS is good fun and they do handle well, mine was the M42 before I changed it. Bought it over 5 years ago. Was factory specced with the tech2 kit on it. I must admit im hooked on 24v now though. M50 is like the M42 but with 2 extra cylinders I guess but obviously heavier. A 6 pot that likes to rev. Screams to 7.2k. Goes well, would love to charge it sometime when funds allow, turn it into a real beast.:D

Bilteins and eibach/H+R is meant to be one of the best setups iirc. Im after coilovers for mine eventually.
