Great project but without being rude, be prepared to replace gearbox often with all that torque. You could maybe use a ZP4HP24 as fitted in the 4.6

Of course it can be done and i applaud you for that project. I've done it once for a customer that didn't like the coil conversion ride... Easy to do as long people didn't trash EAS box or height sensors BTW there's a great tutorial about that reconversion on rangerovers.net

I've been to 120 mph (210 km/h) once in the P38 a week after i bought it. Bit scarry...was like going 290 in a bimmer. Those bricks wagon aren't designed for speed at all. I'm fine at 150-160 km/h on french highways
