Part you're looking for is BTR6194 (for right hand side), it's a bit of bent tin with 4 clearance holes in it and it squishes the top of the rubber trim into the heater duct. Alm.

Not sure if this has been said or not, but flasher operates on it's own circuit and doesn't share the same lines as dipped/main beam. It does share the same relay though. Ultimately, this means you can "flash" without having side lights or dipped lights on. I will assume you've checked all...

Cyclic sound is usually just that, something going around. Recently noticed a similar ticking that was resonating in the cab, turned out to be coming from the fan belt region... Replaced tensioner bearing after locating ticking using a steel wire and job done. See if ticking persists through...

I would assume that the front steering pin is the swivel pin? Replacement pins are FRC3511 (upper) and FRC2894 (lower)....but chances are that the play is in the bearings as the pins are chodish to say the least. FRC2916 for the housing and bush and 606666 for the bearing. Complete kits are...

Many thanks for this, brilliant bit of diagnosis by OP. For me the penny was too large a shim and took the 'trueness' too far. Diagnosed by a shot of WD40 on one side of the belt and then the other. Turns out I need a couple thou' at 9 o'clock position instead. Again, cheers for this -...
