What have you done to your Landie today.

Changed rear prop donut, diff input seal, both rear wheel bearing replaced, new rear pads, new front and rear diff oils, new front trailing arm bushes to chassis and completely set of front radius arm bushes which were a pig to get in and out. Didn't get to patch my inner arch though so that's...

    Odd Vibration above 30mph

Mines a disco so it has a rubber coupling (donut)to the diff flange instead of a uj. Less harsh but less angles allowed so tears easy on a lifted 300 disco

    Odd Vibration above 30mph

That's just what mine did on way back from pay and play Sunday to the letter and it was the rear donut had failed so I'd agree defo a uj or prop issue of some kind.

do you think i have left it a little late to change brakes?????

That's why people get killed on the roads. Wouldn't be posting that if it was mine. Yes we all have failures they are landies after all but that's just shocking maintenance in my opinion, maybe not by yourself but previous owner but glad your changing them anyways. :-))

Mobile mechanic needed in Northampton area.

My starting point would be drain carbs. Remove plugs clean and dry. Then try and start with full battery and foot to the floor so it don't overfill as you have everything there so I'm guessing its just badly flooded.

Prop coupling fail and diff leak.

That's what I was hoping everyone would say. Cheers. Also noticed the bush in the end of prop has been damaged. Is this available with the new donut. I know 200 prop conversion is ideal but I'm on a budget at the moment as just brought a house and mot due next month. Mmm fun

Prop coupling fail and diff leak.

Hi guys had the prop coupling fail today on the rear of my 300, nursed it home steady from the pnp but now I have the pinion leaking oil. I've removed prop and coupling and have zero play in bearing in any direction and no noise just a little backlash in pinion to sun gear which I expect for...

    Silverdale offroad tomorrow

Hi peeps. Never been to this site before and have a rare day off work I could go. Only problem is I have no passenger and wondering if its wise to be going on my lonesome as I won't know anyone there? What do u guys think? Disconnect the air feed to let it down then start again

    buildwas 4x4 pay and play

You must of gone very slow or direct to centre as that's well deep. Stay to the sides and you wouldn't of had issues. I've been through 4 or 5 times in 1 day no issue but you know if you get to close to the centre deep section it just sinks and bogs you in. Can't wait to get up there again

Battery ones are really good until they get flat. Which happens quite a lot on my old one. 2 batteries a must
