Have you thought about the Karcher chassis washer. I find it very good. When I took the Dico for waxoyling the garage didn't,t have to do any further cleaning. Google Karcher and have a look.

On my disco1 and now disco2 we have found the seats very comfy. SWMBO has a bad back and can sit for hours without problems. You can get the rubber supports from LaSalle and also new seat squabs. Might be all that is needed.

Is your Disco a Jap reimport. My 1996 300Tdi auto was fly by wire and with an obd socket. I believe all export vehicles were rigged this way. Hope this helps

More info, on my phone last message. Look at the pictures on Exmoor trim site. The uprated diaphragm is extremely superior and has extra springs. Fitted one to my old Disco 1 without renewing foam base and there was a fantastic difference. Not expensive and I do recommend it.

Why not just get two new upgraded seat supports from Craddocks. Easy to fit and reasonably priced. If you need to clean seats as well plentyof stuff in halfords. Completely changed my Disco 1 when i fiited new support

As said stop the blade as near to vertical as you can. This will give enough movement to change blade

Had the same problem on my 2002 D2. Removed wiper from door, motor working ok, found shaft going through door was seized.. Cleaned up with contact cleaner, refilled geardrive with grease, refitted and lubed shaft. Spray occasionally with spray grease. All working perfectly.

Firstly, are you sure your motor is gone?. They do tend to sieze up and stop. I thought the same but stripped the whole thing down, re-greased the drive box and lubed the shaft, bush etc and re-assembled and all worked fine. Go to Amazon for the studs and also a stud removal tool. Very good prices.
