heard it said a few times,out of the various 4x4,s the army used not much could keep up with a wolf,so what was done to the 300 tdi to make it faster?

few by me but there in south wales

since getting my 300 tdi back with its replacement lump,i have noticed the diesel knock is a lot more pronounced,unless its my imagination as the gaylander i borrowed is a lot quieter,timings spot on but pumps still turned up i think,put the diaphragm back to where it should be but tick over is...

i was not ****ed at all,which was crap,still got up with a bastard of a headache though

ponty dropped me a message on fb,said he has a mechanic pal looking at it,more than happy to pop up and take a look at the weekend if needed though

next time we should travel in convoys if possible,back up in numbers,brilliant news its home,you can tell if the lift pumps gone by lifting the lever and check if theres a bit of resistance,i would crank it see if diesel to the injectors first,if its getting fuel and not starting look at...

its in the Midlands,most events get held here because its central for most people ,ok not so bad from me coming from wales but take vilguy for example,6 hours away,still made it,did not complain and had a good time,the events fine where it is,just be grateful you have such a event and the people...
