yeh thats's the way i do it, then your guaranteed to get a good earth from the neg on the battery's earth instead of trying to go off the bumper for a good earth

how much for the diffs?

im sure it just be earthed from one of the winch mount bolts straight upto the neg terminal

Im a bit confused on the sizes of winch hooks, they come in 1/4, 5/8, and 3/8 sizes. Were are the measurement take from? are they the size of the winch gate?

Had the welds checked out today by professional welders and they said that the welding was appalling and using superglue is properly safer than his welding lol

yeh beasty, thats what makes me think that it hasnt been fully welded and thats the reason why there is rust inside

I will take a pic tomorrow and post it up mate, its the same weld

i have emailed him and he asked me to ring and send pics, i sent the pics and tried ringing today but with know answer. I didn't post this to be vindictive or anything, i did this for the interest in other peoples safety, just incase people are thinking that
