Dunno about anyone else but that break looks rusty, did you buy them new and did you fit them yourself?

i bought them brand new. yeh it does look rusty, but i reckon that the weld wasnt a complete seal and water has got in. i deep clean the underneath twice a month and the arms have only been used on 2 pay and plays and about 4 green lane trips so they haven had a hard life

Fair do's then, they look like very cheap, ****e, dangerous products to me ...

I am just waiting for my mate to send me the pics he took today, they are better quality and show how the weld has broke, it looks like there was still slag (not the pic on ebay of his trailing arms lol) in the weld and it has broke off

will upload as soon as i get them

more pics

I can weld better than that, and I've not held a torch for 20 years!!

Trading Standards is yer enforcing body, but before you get in touch tell the vendor they've sold you ****e and ask for your money back, if they refuse then you go through the small claims court, try and get your cash before TS clean him out :)

I know Dave Kirby, the guy who runs tarantula, and He's been making these a long time. & have never heard of anyone having a problem. & I know he's a good welder. SO either his standards have slipped a lot ?? or he's employed someone to help/ subcontracted the work out. and they've done a **** job. I'll email hoim the link and let him know about this thread and see if he wants to respond to it???

I would say that going by the photos it looks like metal fatigue, the weld is further down the end of the pipe isnt it?

If you look at pic 4 you can see to what degree the paint has penetrated the joint.......Its a truely horrible job

I'm sure if this companies parts were sent for testing they would fail dramatically on safety grounds ... perhaps involving trading standards would be a good thing to possibly save lives.....

yeh beasty, thats what makes me think that it hasnt been fully welded and thats the reason why there is rust inside
