My S3 sports Micheline Latitude Cross on new tubeless OE wheels. Great for spring-to-autumn use up here, and on-road, if you don't want to climb mountains. My (highly personal) view is that wheels and tyres are not supposed to be some cheap cr*p anyway, it is a matter of safety.

LaSalle Interior Trim has some interesting stuff. I am thinking of getting either this (with a radio space) or this (standard headlining). Apparently, they do insulation as well.

My S3 truck cab leaks on the driver side (LHD), but is bone dry on the passenger side. Should I worry? :D On a more serious note, my doors have seen better days and I first thought about following in the footsteps of Steamwally. But, since I don't know how to weld, the option is to treat myself...

Steamwally discovered an interesting problem that might be worth taking into consideration, 6.42 into the video. It does not seem related to water problems at first, but he explains the connection in this video (at 0.14). In short, the wiper motor socket can be a trap that you do not think about...

Thanks! I got the green bible and the spare parts catalogue, so I am okay as far as wiring diagrams go. Thanks anyway, next year's project will be to swap the rear harness... some previous owner changed the original one for domestic electric cables :confused: and I am keen to sort that.
