    AFF is as good if not slightly better at fighting fires than Halon, ( Some North Sea Oil and Gas instalations still have Halon but thats on a timer for them to change over to AFF) tbh ive seen a car of mine go up and ive done firefighting training ( I mean full kit with liquid fuel fires)...

    You want Co2 or Dry Powder for a car NOT AFF unless you dont like breathing or can be assured you have lots of air around you, Powders and Foam are the best but they are also the worst to clear up afterwards, Carry a 2kg Powder between the front seats mounted to the rear Bulkhead and a life...

    Could you not wire it to the Starter Motor OR Alternator ????? Switch Hidden some where to turn air horn OFF before you Fire her up, That way when anyone tries to turn the engine over with the switch in the ON position its going to be rather loud

    It could be your motor is old and worn or the blades are covered in ****e. Take the fan out and give it a good clean, Ive often woundered if you can get a more power full fan, I have noticed mine is tempermental some times on two it blows other times its like fook all.

    I would say Jate Rings all the way as you can then make a bridle up out of an 2mtr 10t strop and thus half the force put on each leg ;) same at the front.

    200tdi in a 90 only doing 21 miles to the gallon???

    Mine is slowly losing MPG started at 25 back in march last year now down to 21ish for some reason,. Im thinking possinbly cam belt needs changing and a good service but I have been told that LR engines love a good flush and clean out. So I shall be doing that too,.

    you know 5th wheel grease is just ****e oil so can have any number of bits in it to help corrode. You starting to make me think of using the valve sealant we use at work but at £1000 for less than 12kgs i think it might be a tad expensive.

    Thats the same as mine but mine is all orange with black knee pads and a stobe as well as a whistle :P tad bulky and a tad too large for me but bloody ideal. If you get cold in one of them then you should realy be paniking.

    Midland is one of the larger name brands. TBH ive had 3 two real old ones ( analougue dials) and they have all been midlands no problems just age got to them. I think to be hounest the biggest thing is the quality of your coax and areial as well as the earth.

    TBH if its realy cold as in - temps and it needs doing then i put on my fladen flotation suit ;) now that is water proof ;)
