No offence to your local indie but they probably buy fuel from the same places the supermarkets do which is the cheapest place possible.

I say "combined" the majority of trips would be sub 20 miles with a log 'un now and again. I also found that I would get at least 10% less mpg if I bought the fuel from a supermarket.

on my 200tdi disco from pretty much empty to the brim would give us 600 miles combined. I always figured this to be about right, with a 200tdi running well it should return 30mpg and the tank brimmed is about 20gal, 20x30=600.

If you can prove it was done before the new rules came in you might get away with keeping the original id but if it was done recently it would have to have an iva and would be q plated. I'd stay away unless the seller has a lot of documentation to prove the rebuild.

ah that explains the bad reviews then. The chap I sold mine to has been in touch and is very happy with it. So the answer is to make sure you get the 300watt version not the 180. BB, check yours is the 300watt version before you try and flog it;)

mine was a roadpro but it had a 30volt inline fuse, I don't think that one is as powerful????

Do it, I only expected to get £30 or maybe £40 tops but you never know with the bay.:D
