My p38 has a new problem when coming to a stop approx 3mph I get a slight side to side wobble feel in the car . And also sometimes when reversing I get a noise with more heavy judder . I'm not sure how to check but I'm suspecting the diffs
Do you think the car would run if the fuel lines where the wrong way around at the in tank pump ? As the pumps running but I'm getting no fuel still up to the filter housing but someones been messing before
Right I fitted the new pump and it's working tried the car it pulled in reverse fine pull it under load and it pulled turned it off went back to it 2 mins later now it's back to how it was before but the pumps still running losing the will to live with this car
Hi I'm in the process of changing the intank pump as I wasnt getting any fuel when jumping the relay . But I've taken the old one out and tested it and it's working what do I need to check now to find why I'm not getting power to the pump thank you
I can confirm the in tank pump is dead I've done all the test mentioned on here and I'm getting nothing even with a live from the battery so im now thinking how to change it under rear seats or tank off and pattern part or genuine VDO . Thank you all for your help
Have I tested it correct I took the pipe out of the rear of the fuel filter housing and placed my jug under the pipe and turned ignition on and counted to 10
Think I may of found the problem . But I dont have any starting issues it starts very well but I've changed the fuel filter and did the test data said ignition on for 10 seconds and should have 180 ml of fuel I got about 45 ml
