Hi guys, my rear wiper has starting to play up, its always been fine before but now if i activate it, it will only move to and fro about 2 inches then it will park itself again, it does not wipe the whole screen like it did before, same if i go to wash it... any ideas gratefully appreciated. :eek:

If it is my drive shaft cv joint thing is that an expensive repair? How long should it take to sort out am really skint but at the same time wanna get it sorted. Also if it is that then what's the worse that could happen???

i had same problem, was told to basically pump the clutch about 15 times before you go out and if changing gear seems easier then definately clutch and master slave cylinder, did the test, was exactly this and now all working fine.

lol, yes i am keeping it but need an easy fix until pay day - end of month then can sort it properly if needed!!

my freelander sounds like it is making exactly the same noise as you, i also thought it was coming from front of the car, i have checked under my car and no oil around the rear diff so not sure now, i have already removed the propshaft and vcu and this hasnt actually made any difference to the...

i had this back in june and have removed my propshaft, runs fine now and reckon get better fuel consumption!! got a mate to take it off for me and it took him about 45 minutes and cost me a beer!!!

Hippo, no the noise does not sound anything like that, also i dont have the vcu on there anymore so couldnt be that either way, teddywood1 no it doesnt make more noise when turning a certain way. still really confused as to what it can be.:confused:
