Hi guys i noticed today that i have a small power steering fluid leak, is there anything i can use to seal this quickly, i know you can get rad weld or k seal for collant leaks so just wondered if there was anything for power steering fluid and if anyone has ever used it with success!!! any responses appreciated. Thanks:)

I can't remember the name of it but search on eBay - I had a bottle of floppy stuff that worked on my daughter's Ford Ka.

Try this

POWER STEERING RACK LEAK SEALER STEERING RACK STOP LEAK

I can't get the eBay URL easily on my phone

Yes - not all of it though - it tells you tokeep adding until the leak stops - so kind of a big dollop at a time.

capfull of break fluid works. it makes the rubber seals swell slightly and stops the leak. Worked for the 90 I had.

Land Rover know about this leak and there is a mod for it.
An uprated fluid reservoir and pipe clip.
I'd use caution with any additives to the fluid itself.

Mine has a small leak and was identified as an advise on a recent Mot test , but it's not enough to cause any panic/worry.

Isnt fixing what is leaking, how you fix a PAS leak?

Pouring gunk into your steering system strikes me as reckless, but then im not driving your car :)
