    Nice job on the bulkhead!! Here are the piccys of mine I'v been promising. I'm going to start it up tomorrow for the first time since replacing the rear main oil seal, all of the big end and main bearings and timing chain. Will it start?????? of course it will!!! erm, yes anyway!! Hope so!!

    I don't suppose you have checked the adjusters? If the previous owner had wound these up to counter the loss of pedal then they may need re adjusting now you have a new master cylinder.

    Problems with my series III gearbox

    Sounds like a gearbox problem to me!! I'd be checking all of the bearings first as a couse but you may well have further problems now such as teeth missing of gears etc.. First off, drain the gearbox oil and see whats in it. Bearings, teeth or any other nasties and go from there.

    I'v just had a look for you and if your profile is correct the break switch is part number PRC4297 and is indeed on the bulkhead side of the pedal bracket on top of the drivers foot well.
