it should be at the top of the pedal against the bulkhead

I think I should cut down on the ale a bit. I'm sure I've seen this before.

I'v just had a look for you and if your profile is correct the break switch is part number PRC4297 and is indeed on the bulkhead side of the pedal bracket on top of the drivers foot well.

Its under the bonnet, at the rear of the master cylinder assembly.

its in the part dept. next to the clutch light switch
