The original series III delux seats are extreamly comfy, it's only some of the more modern aftermarket ones which are like sitting on a concreat floor! I know some one that has fitted car seats recently but had to make the seatbase about 1 inch shorter. Sorry I'm not much help!

If you could give a discription and rough location of the wire I may be able to help as I made detailed notes when removing the loom in my diesel. I have now re-wired the whole vehicle within the space of a day.

I have burst the high pressure hose from the power steering pump to the box. Upon replacing the part I have found that no trace of the removed part is in any catalogue or manual. I can not even see it on L/rovers Microcat Database. I was wondering if anyone had found the same problem? The hose...

Yep 1980 there was a change. I could probably find out if you still need to know as they (master cyl.) are stocked where I work and easy to measure! I'm not sure If the pipes are here though.

I have just replaced the master cylinder and pipes on my series 3, which has the duel system and servo. I found that the union holes on the new genuine type master cylinder were of different size to the one that I had taken off. This is strange as the part has never superseeded to any other...

Oil seal replaced, engine sump and crankshaft back on, fly wheel housing back on, fly wheel back on, clutch back on, gearbox back on,engine back on starter back on, slave cylinder back on - I'v now started it and oil is still ****ing out. Driping on low revs and flowing on high revs. Land...

Oooops, Don't forget to top it up again. If you didn't know there should be oil there it prabably wants cleaning anyway! How far have you got with the rebuild?

No problem, I had two and I'v used one myself. You can just see it on the picture below. I'v got plenty of spare brake pipe as well if you need it.

I'v got one you could have if your local enough to pick it up. It has gone a bit rusty inside as the top hasn't been covered. But it was new late last year and it still looks shiney!!!
