The clamps aren't corroded, well not to excess. It's that you have to grind the old ones off. They dont unscrew, hence my question. Went into a local Landy specialist today and he told me to make some myself out of some flat bar.

Hi, I've got the wheels below on my Landy, which remind of some Weller wheels I had on a mini once. I really want the original wheels on it. I have no idea as to the desirability of these wheels. Am I likely to get a straight swap for originals ?

I know that they couldn't agrue the fact that it came from them , as you rightly state it has 'Halfords' stamped on it. I'll ring them first, then go in for a fight if they say no. :D

It was actually the front ones that were Armstrongs and the rears were Britparts. Want to hazard a guess which set took me 15 mins per side and which took over an hour per side ? Britpart suck! :mad::mad::mad:

It's running fairly rich as it stinks of petrol and will start with virtually no choke.

The shocks were the H/D ones. Don't really know why I ordered them other than the price difference was minimal. The rears that have come are Armstrong shocks, it's just the front set that are Britpart. Just didnt really want to be replacing them after 6 months coz they are made of cheese :(
