Hi folks,
Just ordered a few bits from Paddocks, 4xshocks/swivel seals/sump gasket. One set of the shocks are manufactured by Britpart. I just came across another thread where everyone seemed to think Britpart parts were a complete waste of time and money

Is there another reasonably priced supplier of standard parts?

As a foot note I thought Paddocks service was excellent.

For std shocks you can't beat the original Armstrong shocks and dirt cheap to boot..

The shocks were the H/D ones. Don't really know why I ordered them other than the price difference was minimal. The rears that have come are Armstrong shocks, it's just the front set that are Britpart. Just didnt really want to be replacing them after 6 months coz they are made of cheese

I find Paddocks pretty good. Where there's a choice on their website as to OEM or Pattern always buy OEM, it'll save time and money in the long run.

Dingocroft are really good for OEM parts and really good service too.

Thanks for the Dingocroft recommendation. I wanted to build up a list of good suppliers. Google gives you a list but you cant beat personal recommendation

It was actually the front ones that were Armstrongs and the rears were Britparts. Want to hazard a guess which set took me 15 mins per side and which took over an hour per side ? Britpart suck!
