Successfully replaced the blend motors today! Took me 5 hours.. Tricky job, but got there in the end and all is working good again :) Next problem: driving home today, NSR brake caliper seized :( Is this something I can change myself?

it doesn't have to look pretty, considering it's covered anyway if that's what you're getting at? all i want is easy access and as long as it still does it's job after i don't care. Just curious if that would work. Cheers

Been reading up on replacing these on my 2.5 TD, it seems an air duct blocks easy access. Can you not just cut a large section out and once done just duct tape it back together? Would save a lot of hassle and the duct tape would do the job, right?

I'll try get a pic, but it's the wee bit that sort of connects the door key turning but to the rod. If my fob loses sync again and with the doors being unable to unlock manually at the moment due to the broken clip, is there any way into a locked p38?

Would seem so. Don't know what to do about the broken lock bit tho now.

Got it started!!! Was the driver door lock all along. I put new one on and the sync mate still didnt work. So EKA code attempt again, problem is I snapped the rod that connects the key turns on the door handle to the latch mechanism itself when removing the old one :( so I was like how...

How can I find out where the issue is, what do I need to do? I took the panel off for the OBDII socket and all wires going into it look fine. Is there any fuses related to all this I can check if blown? Thanks

Got the new rf receiver today. No difference, sync mate still giving error code becm will not wake up.

Aviemore, already looked nobody near. No idea what's going on wammers :( got a new rf receiver and front door locks coming, will fit them and try again, fingers crossed.

So I'm having a another wee issue :( Bought the sync mate for my car, plugged it in, blue light then next it flashes red 4 times.. black box website says that means becm did not respond to wake up. Anyone got any ideas why / how to resolve this? Thanks

Not sure how to add myself, but if someone wants to do it I live in Aviemore and will have the sync mate for the 2.5TD either today or tomorrow. Also have towing capabilities.
