Been reading up on replacing these on my 2.5 TD, it seems an air duct blocks easy access.

Can you not just cut a large section out and once done just duct tape it back together? Would save a lot of hassle and the duct tape would do the job, right?

some what? sorry don't know the ins and outs, just trying to find the easiest way to get at them.

it doesn't have to look pretty, considering it's covered anyway if that's what you're getting at? all i want is easy access and as long as it still does it's job after i don't care.

Just curious if that would work.

Cheers

Wire ! Thought we have been on orange twine for over 30 odd years that I know of. And have a look at range rovers.net as mentioned on here loads of times.

I've not seen orange twine in 20 years. All nylon mesh now!

Successfully replaced the blend motors today! Took me 5 hours..

Tricky job, but got there in the end and all is working good again :)

Next problem: driving home today, NSR brake caliper seized :(

Is this something I can change myself?

Sliders seized pretty simple job. Piston seized not as simple but doable. Our cat could change the caliper complete. Get some brake hose clamps.

oh meant to ask, what does it mean if when i depress the brake pedal it's quite stiff / feels a bit springy at times if that makes any sense
