P38A Springs back to air UPDATE

Hopefully I'm not boring everyone with these updates, I removed the height sensor plug and cleaned up the connectors (slight corrosion). I reset the faults and the car rose up but has now dropped down on the back right corner. I'm guessing the height sensor is too blame??

P38A Springs back to air UPDATE

Mines a 95 so looks like I cant swap the sensor over, I'll try and have a look at it tonight. It might not even be connected up properly, this thing has been on springs for three years so there's bound to be a bit of messing around I suppose. If I do need a sensor where's the best place to get...

P38A Springs back to air UPDATE

Well, I've changed all the air bags, rebuilt the valve block and compressor and now I've got a Range Rover that has no suspension. I've got the EAS unlock software and I've reset all the faults but nothing is happening at all. Any suggestions before I throw a gallon of petrol over it and set...

P38A Springs back to air UPDATE

I should be ok for pipe and connectors to be honest, from just having a quick look it seems to a mixture of 4 mm and 6mm.

P38A Springs back to air UPDATE

Well I picked the car up Saturday and it looks like the air bags have just been removed and the air lines cut, so plan is to order some new air bags and get some diagnostic software and see what happens. Will then hopefully find the fault that caused someone to remove them.

P38A Springs back to air UPDATE

Hi, I've just got myself a P38 Range Rover (picking up next Saturday). Someone has swapped the air suspension out for springs, has anyone ever swapped from springs back to air, the air suspension seems a better option to me so would like to put it back if I can. Any advise would be appreciated...

Hello all, I'm brand new to this Land Rover thing. I will shortly be getting a P38 Range Rover that sort of landed on my doorstep. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions but I'll have a good look round first to see if I can find the answers. Thanks Paul
