The use of PVA solution sounds a good idea, I didn't think of that, it certainly helped to prevent soak up when we plastered and repainted the ceiling in our living room the other year. For sure, the use of a dust sheet would help to stop Mrs Carver being too upset :-) John

Well, how did I get on replacing the fabric material of the L322 headlining? My first attempt at replacing headlining material on any car, so please be kind :-)

Things have been a lot slower than we would have liked over the past few months, but today I am happy to report we finally have the brand new windscreen fitted into our salvage L322 project :-) Next job, we need to reinstall the upper tailgate and fit a new smoked brake lamp unit into it.

Lol... I would certainly not recommend its use with a petrol spillage, you may find out that you would be looking for a new workshop sooner than you would like :-)

Between the lovely tune of the L322 and our 1988 TVR, we certainly know how to keep our neighbours entertained :)

A quick video update today. I take the first step in peeling back the Range Rover roof skin. I noticed there was no sealant along the windscreen metal to metal panel joint, but thinking about it the joint edge faces downwards, has the sealed windscreen over it, and so it is unlikely to attract...

We have no idea. It looks like a well cared for animal though, we guess it must have escaped from a nearby field.

We don't know Pete, we bought the car from a salvage firm, and didn't know how it got damaged at that time.

We are not removing the frame for the roof, only the skin sheet, so there should not be any significant body twisting.
