What is the tapping noise Kermit ?

its intermittent and only when warm and deduction leads me to a dead/lazy lifter
oil pressure is OK or there would be a whole lot worse noise. if it were a liner, rocker, bearing etc then it wouldn't go away with a few revs

It does

Not obnoxious or intrusive when running up the motorway..

It is good fun in town

Mine has no back boxes, in really not sure what the difference is, maybe a bit of volume
