Matt, We need some "special" transmission fluid for the ZF box. Best price i found was £120 delevered for 12L. Obviously we dont need 12L. I was going to put the remaining on e-bay but have a taker for it already.

I would go with waxoil. Not sure how good the hammerite stuff is. Waxoil will penetrate the rust so no need for a wire brush. Russ the guy i use quoted about £100 to seal my RR so £400 sounds steep.

John With regards to your LPG and head gasket failures there are people who say the LPG causes it etc and others who don't. From my experience the LPG does make the car run hotter so if there is a weekness in the engine then the LPG might help to make it worse. The guy I used for my conversion...

John, Think matt has answered most of your questions etc. I got the V8 and got it converted to LPG. Best thing I have done since buying the car. I'm now laughing when I fill it up. Instead of a £120 bill for fuel I think my max was £42 an that was expensive gas. I used the RR a few weeks back...

Edward I think it's a fairly easy job to do, probably harder to bleed the system than actually replace the rad. Have a look in RAVE an see if you think you can do the job before you start. As for price of rad I can't be much more help. Rob

Just done mine matt an used mobil 1 0w-40. That's what RAVE states I think but for what were doing don't think a 10w-40 would be so different.

That good. How much is the boost solenoid? Is it an easy change?

Saucepan lidding? What the hells that? Could it be the wrong ATF? I know my rangie needs a certain ATF are the disco boxs as demanding? Could it be anything to do with the kick down?
