hey guys, my landy's leaking diesel at the guage. is it easy to take the guage out and replace the gasket? can i make my own gasket? no dealer has stock around here. please advise ;-) thanx in advance

i struggled getting th 110's shafts off yesterday.. prev machie striped most of the nuts..(prob by using wrong size spaners) i got them off eventually.. i can get a 14mm ring spanner on them, but no socket. took them in this morning to rebuild the front shaft and replace uj's on the rear...

from inside the bonnet they clip the alarm siren's wires, and then they hve plentyof time to jump the car... defender(SW) rear window(locks) are plastic rubbish so getting into the car is not an issue..

hehe the only problem is to prove it was them.. the people over here are full of bullsh1t stories. but ja, getting it fixed now, thereafter i will work on it myself ;-) rather trust ur own hands, they never lie.

if i use an air ratchet, would it be easier to get the nutt off? thinkin of replacing the shocks on my landy.. gettin it bck this weekend. it hs OME susp fitted, but they are 100 000km+ old... so it think its worthwhile replacing. do i need to go for the exp stuff out there? im no pro...

eish, this seems the only option i have, guys over here say thay are happy with the britpart(sh1tpart) gonna cost me a fortune jus getting it fitted, the prev mechanic broke the one stud off into the engine block.. and now the mackie is going to have to strip all the covers and stuff off to...

hi guys, i need to fit a new waterpump to my 94 200tdi defender. the agents charge an arm and leg for one, i can get a pirate part that is imported from the uk at exactly a 3rd the price of a rover pump. since u guys are based in the uk, are they any good? or would i be wasting my money...

cool thanx guys, yes this one has disks at the back, car is spotless inside and the engine etc is also in good as new nick. dad told me that in the past the gearbox was sticky in 1st and 2nd gear, but then another "expert" told him he had the wrong oil in the box, replaced oil and then the box...
