If you phone Landrover Customer Care with your chassis number they will send out a letter giving the details of your alarm and immobiliser that you have fitted....done this for mine.

thanks everyone for the help....my mate who knows his landies came over to help...the nuts were right...the alloys were being a biatch to seat on the hubs so after some copper slip and lots of man handling we got em fitted :clap2: they look much better fitted than the old steels.....only...

yep they are defo the nuts I have...the short dumpy ones on my current steels and got a set of the ally one's with the chrome covers to go on the freestyles...... I have checked that the nuts defo go right into the alloys as I thought that was the problem but they sit right into the...

you should never run without a thermostat, the engine would take an age to warm up...and you can't block it. to remove viscous fan you should just need the correct cranked spanner, the fan should be a reverse thread as well

Hi all, I have just fitted a new rear step to my 200 tdi , can anyone tell me what the correct operation of the rear step is ? it stays up when lifted up, but is it meant to stay down or is it meant to retract all the way up automatically ? just want to check I haven't done something wrong...
