EDC stands for electronic diesel control it was fitted to some auto's from 1995 to give more bhp, has the doner engine got any wires on the fuel injection pump ? did it have a airflow meter ? this is the signs of edc

yeah gaffer tape will do it i cant remember exactly how big it was but the good old gaffer tape bodge will sort it lol

Hi if you are taking the airbags out you need to change the whole dash as the airbag in the passenger side has a big hole and the grab rail doesnt cover it up i have done this on my old discovery also you have to be careful with the disc with the wires behind the steering wheel but i do agree...

looks very nice mate and as others have said leave the plastic sill covers off they make things worse

i had same issues with mine changed front sensors but still kept messing around, after a lot of cursing i changed the relay for the abs problem sorted and worked fine from then on, hope this helps if u not fixed it yet, let us all know how ya get on
