hi ive done a engine swap from my r reg 300tdi to a m reg doner land rover but become stuck when i relized the wiring looms are different, got different clips dash end, and when putting the m reg loom in its got a few less clips than the r reg, so im at a lose of what to do now, any ideas as gota be able to make it work, are the 300tdi engines all the same as i fort they were ??

they can all be wired up the same apart from edc which requires ecu and much more wiring,300 if not edc needs only stop solenoid ,starter ,alternator ,oil pressure ,temp to run

EDC stands for electronic diesel control it was fitted to some auto's from 1995 to give more bhp, has the doner engine got any wires on the fuel injection pump ? did it have a airflow meter ? this is the signs of edc
