Ok so managed to read some pressure while running after a decent time, it had reached about 3 psi when i stopped, should i leave it running longer to reach 5 to 7 psi and should i get it sniffed? Cheers.

ok so i had another look, pressurised to 15psi with the engine off and warm, I can't test it running because for some reason the tester doesn't seem to be able to work like that, this time I noticed that the pressure did drop really slowly and I would get a drop of water come out of the overflow...

It is a brand new cap, they seem to be ok, could it be something wrong with the expansion tank?

ok so i have refilled the system but still get water coming out of the overflow pipe?

I am going to flush the system and start again.

Ok so eventually i just bought a pressure tester, it holds 15psi no problem at all but when running the gauge shows nothing, am I doing something wrong? Cheers.

Going in Thursday, I'm guessing the static test is with the engine off and if the reading is low it indicates there is a leak somewhere, i.e. the head gasket, and the dynamic is running and if that is high it is because the gases are getting in, cheers.

Sorry to hijack / dig up but someone on here accredited a pulling left in the steering to 'slight play' in the vcu, would this slight play have been evident in the standard wheel turning test or some other inspection do you think?

I couldn't find anything in RAVE regarding this so I put it out there, I have an oil leak from the vacuum pump, I've checked and its not the cam cover so does anyone know how you go about removing it and changing any seal within? Cheers!

As the temperature increased, there was a drop in the field showing temperature (v), also the fuel level and accelerator pedal were all over the place, it was a snapon machine.

But you live and learn I guess.

Like i said i didnt think it would go so quickly.

If diagnostics showed a decrease in voltage as the temperature increased does that mean the sensor is ok?
