Hi guys, Does anyone have recommendation for a good Disco 2 TD5 service kit and oil package that I should buy for servicing my Disco? I have seen loads online and on eBay but most seem to be the QX branded stuff and my mate says it’s cheap rubbish and not to buy it. Cheers in advance Chris

Well I am 33 years old now so was only 22 when I had my Disco V8 lol first proper motor I had once I passed my driving test at 21 lol! Was a great big motor, now have a Disco 2 TD5 ES model but seems all ok! Will be getting it looked over by my mate just to see if anything needs doing to it.

I know this sounds silly but is it engine vibration or chassis? If it's engine it could be that distribution cap and rotary arm need replaced as I had similar excessive vibration but mine was only the engine running with excessive vibration after 30 mph. If it's something else then goodluck...

Well maybe so but my Range rover is the 3.5 efi so not on carbs and it still going strong 20 years old. My car has long warranty haha!
