had a good day at work today i got to drive a brand new L405 amazing bit of kit and such a pleasure to drive working for jlr does have it benefits i suppose

ive seen the tours going round the jag plant nearly every day i went on the land rover experience today and yes you can tour the solihull factory must say it was strange driving my p38 into the plant where 14 years ago it left,got some looks as i went in

well having spent some time at the jaguar plant im now been transferred to land rover ill be taking my baby to where she was once born roll on monday

wots the condition of it and are the cats ok

its a 99 thor v8

on my drive home from work today and my exhaust decided to snap its self away from the middle pipe so now im in need of a front pair of cats for my v8 wheres the best exhaust place to get one from car does sound awesome though lol

and to top this off when it switches over to lpg it runs very sluggish it will tick over and rev fine on lpg but pulling away and driving along its losing power

when i start my car from cold in the morning it ticks over at about 1200rpm for a few seconds then it just tries to cut out,when you try to rev it,its almost like its stuttering and misfiring restart it and then its fine again for a few seconds and then dies again but once its warm its fine...

Update Seems like it needed some decent o2 sensors fitted Ive now put in bosch and its running like a different car Fuel trims reset also So much for the garage that said it needed a full rebuild, stupid people think I was born yesterday

did yours do that on tick over or when it was been driven and where did it blow

it starts and drives fine ticks over ok aswell not seeing any misfire on the diagnostics now either getting to the point where im thinking of getting rid of it

Whilst ive been trying to sort the many faults on my p38 I have pulled a fault code regarding the o2 sensor heater curcuit both banks O2 Probe Heating before Catalytic Converter - Minimum Value Not Reached.Fault Present and Static And the same fore bank 2 Ive checked voltage on the harness...

im finding part numbers that are confusing some are saying they are for 94-98 models but the number relates to 99 onwards

im trying to find a front exhaust pipe for my 99 4.0 all im able to find is the ones for models upto 98 are they all the same? whats the part number for the cats for a 99

i know there isnt many people on here with the lynx kit but need to know how do you reset the fuel trims im trying to do mine on my 99 4.0 but dont want to mess with the kit to much until im clear on using it think ive found the setting but not sure
