this is what mine sounds like but this is on tickover and mine does it when your driving
could it be the same thing?

Loose spark plug?

Have you tried driving it with different plugs disconnected.

it starts and drives fine ticks over ok aswell
not seeing any misfire on the diagnostics now either
getting to the point where im thinking of getting rid of it

did yours do that on tick over or when it was been driven

Mine was ok on tickover. When i hit 2000 - 3000 rpm it would make a chuff / rattle sound. Eventually it started running lumpy on idle & on way to garage to get it looked at it started misfiring. Mine blew between 2 middle cylinders (6&4) so no overheating.

Update
Seems like it needed some decent o2 sensors fitted
Ive now put in bosch and its running like a different car
Fuel trims reset also
So much for the garage that said it needed a full rebuild, stupid people think I was born yesterday
