well to replace the clutch it was 300 quid. Though this is a separate lot of work, I've got them to do this free of charge, as they didnt diagnose the fault properly first time round; I had selection problems with rev, 1st and 2nd they diagnosed it as a knackered clutch so thats what i had...

yea, i had the exact same problem after mr clutch replaced my clutch... So i sent it straight back and they adjusted the hand brake linkage, as they would have disturbed it, when removing boxes etc.

oh kl, how as it fitting the lock? and hanging the door, like fitting the hinges in the right places so it isnt on the slant

When water is pressurized the boiling point is raised, so the temperature of the fluid may be 110c but not necessarily boiling. Water expands by 4% when heated-fact, but who knows how much pressure that actually produces in the system? So if coolant/fluid was 110c and pressurized (not boiling...
