Yes 2.25 petrol. Not sure if I want to go as far as a full chassis rebuild. This is my first project, I have bought the truck for off road use and I expect it will take a lotta abuse. I'm gonna use it for a while once I get it tested and sorted. Then possibly a more major rebuild at a later date.

Right, for MOT you are not allowed to have a straight through exhaust system. It must have silencers fitted ( at least one ). De-cat will not be a problem so long as emmissions are good and below the values for the vehicle.

Land Rover main dealers change the oil in the box at 24.000 miles. As far as I'm aware thats the only time the oil is changed. So if you have 15.000 on a new box it should be alright for another 9000 miles. Saying that I'm about to do an oil and filter change on my box. I have 110.000 on mine...
