okay, got a multimeter, or length of wire with a bulb or volt meter in the middle? make sure power is supplied first! check the voltage of the brown wire after the fuses if not ok then fuse is blown. next find a good clean bit of unpainted metal behind the dash and use it as ground (sometimes...

firstly, if jumps dont give any power, check the main fuses. if they're fine, turn ignition on and try cigar lighter. then you'll know if it's ignition switch fault. ...take it from there.

My Disco 1 winch bumper is off a Series / Defender (cant tell really) but it's got Disco 1 brackets welded on. if you take your old bumper off, you can cut and weld (or pay someone to) your brackets on any bumper you want.
