Hi all
My name is Pam and live in north cambs. Yesterday I took delivery of my new car, a '98 TD5 auto. Before this I had pajeros and a challenger so it seems very different at the moment. My car had a new engine 35000 miles ago so I'm hoping it will behave itself!
I can't seem to make the doorlocks work properly, according to the manual there are about six ways of doing it but I can't get it to work, so for now I'm leaving it unlocked...
I have a couple of ponies so I needed a towcar but having only got it yesterday, haven't tried this yet! Hoping to learn lots on this site.

leaving your car unlocked? ...in wisbech? damn your brave!
when i lived there it was car crime capital of England.
...maybe cos i lived there? nah.

IMO, the auto is better for towing, none of that cog-swapping when you get to a hill. and left foot braking for hillstarts.

first thing i did when i got my 300tdi was stick it in low range, diff lock, and haul an old half burried car out of my back garden ...erm, got carried away and pulled it THROUGH my old caravan. ahh well, got it out didn't I!
