Hi Clutchdust. Thanks for the clue. I would never have thought of that one first off! Just removed the switchand so far the locks are behaving. Is it a faulty switch or something down the line getting the wrong message on this one? (i.e can I put a new switch in) And yes, I should know better...

I think you'll find these need the separate power amp. This usually resides under the passenger seat. Flea-bay might be a good source of one.

Do asearch on this forum for RAVE and download the workshop manual. Basic servicing (oil/filter changes) is no more difficult than any other car, and unlike a BMWhatsit you can limbo-dance right under the car.

It seems to vary from filter to filter. The one I've just put in (non-gen.) seems to spin for ages after I turn off. Something you get used to after a while.

If its the one in the bumper its dead easy, just pops out. Put your hand up behind the bumper and you'll feel a spring clip at the side of the lamp housing. If you're looking for a replacement, look on e-bay, there's somebody does them for about £22 (Massey4x4). Got one myself off them recently...
