Have you tried running a live direct to the coil

Whilst trying to wire a 3.9 serp motor into my comp safari. I couldn't get lives to the fuel relay or coil it was because I had earthed all the black wires. One of them was an immobiliser wire that shouldn't be earthed. Once the auto electrician found it all was fine.

What's strange is I put the afm on the other car and it works fine. Uuuhhhh

I had the Co trim set to 1.4 on both my disco and comp truck that also runs a 3.9 hotwire. I stole the afm off the racer. I have read about running them at 1.1.

Got it. Faulty MAF. Which explains why the tick over had been hunting for the last months . I am running a non cat tune resistor so it is fully dependant on the maf for fuel metering

After a few hard hours working my v8 disco import I have had a warning light come on. It's a red car shape with a key in it. The weird thing is I accelerate sometimes it goes out and as I take my foot off the accelerator it comes back on. I can here a relay clicking in the glove box.

No cats requires 470 ohm resistor. Ask a sparky to do a potentiometer set to 470 ohms that's what I did. You cannot buy them from anywhere
