    TD4 snapped injector fuel t-piece

No, I've replaced it with a Landrover one as that was what came in the filter kit I ordered from the UK. It will get changed at some point in the future though;)

    TD4 snapped injector fuel t-piece

The three bolts on mine look like torx bits though. It looks like they need a torx socket which I'd never heard of. Until I found these http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_197893_langId_-1_categoryId_165469

    TD4 snapped injector fuel t-piece

I've just done my engine breather and was greatly relieved when Those 'T' pieces came out OK. I used the long-nosed plier method mentioned on here and it worked a treat. Use the same pliers to remove the spring clips and you don't lose them. As an aside, what is the correct tool to remove the...

    Urgent tyre query

You would be far better off getting a cheap set of steel 15" rims and stick a set of AT tyres on. IMO, anyway.

    sun roof

First check is the two drain holes in the sunroof channel. Push a length of 'bowden' cable through it (don't lose it) or blow them out with an airline.

    Anyone recognise these part numbers?

Thanks for that 'Red', I tried google but it came up with nothing (french google) I was just going through the service history I got with my Freelander and couldn't identify those two items. Much obliged.

    Egr Blanking Mod

Given all the comments on this thread about the EGR I decided to have a look today at mine. 100,000 miles on the clock and it was really clean with just a little oily gunge on the left-hand side when looking into it. Given that the previous owner had everything done at a main dealers I don't...

    the bikers wave!

I always wave to bikes when on my bike but in the Freelander, after reading threads on here, I'm just too busy watching for warning lights and listening for unusual noises.

    A quick question, or three.

On the top of our Freelanders gearbox (auto) there is a vent-pipe. Should this be connected to something or just left open ? Behind the engine on the drivers side I found a black steel pipe or rod that comes up vertical and ends in a 'U' bend just behind the oil-filler cap. What is it ? Also...

    Scratch Doctor Paint Chip Kit

Just a comment on a paint chip kit I've just purchased from eBay. Simply brilliant, it comes with the paint, a two-pack lacquer and some ingenious little applicator sticks for application. Way better than the usual crappy brush you get with most kits. eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace...
