Hi well i was a brave man and bought the car as a non runner ,so its anybodys guess,but it was a real mess in that tank.it was like tar when wet but as it dried it crystallized and went brittle,never would have believed it if i hadn,t seen it for myself.

Well if you read my last post all pointed to petrol pump failure,but because i had put a new Bearmack pump in about 3 months ago i found it hard to believe the pump had failed so soon.well i had no other option but to take out the pump.The pump looked like it had been in the tank for over a 100...

i wish thats all it was .

had a quick look when i got home tonight,no fuel at schrader valve,nothing to do with the new leads.

hi my p38 4.6 developed a misfire,so i ordered a lead set from fleabay.fitted them last night but couldnt start the car to see if ive solved the problem because the battery was flat.tried this morning after an overnight charge,the engine is spinning but not a hint if a spark.i,m off to work now...

Never seen a head gasket blown like this before. Still gotta clean up and see if there's any other damage . . . but that's another day. 2 pics attached for your entertainment. i think you have something living in one of your bores,looks like that gasket has been eaten.

do you know you can modify your own headlights ,separate the glass from the headlight reflector with a heat gun,paint it then refit the glass with sealant,cheaper than buying new parts
