Hi,

P38 for sale on the Bay of Fees... item number here
322088852263

Silver... 4 litre petrol... but fitted with LPG, so could be cheap to run... certainly cheaper than a 2.5 diesel anyway.

It has a problem with the central locking... doors are buggered... owner had to climb out the window..!

Worst case scenario... what would i be looking at here?

Could be the master lock unit... could be an ecu

thanks

Are you versed in P38 ownership and repairs??

It looks a bit unloved and if you cannot spanner your own repairs, have decent diagnostics (Nanocom as a minimum) or a good knowledge of the ridiculously complex electronics then walk away unless you get it for a snip and prepared for a steep learning curve, frustration, heartache and a lot of swearing....

Sounds like it has superlocked and then the motors have failed.

Don't believe the bullshìt about LPG economy, a diesel is cheaper to run

I had a little trial on my long drive down to southern Spain. a very light right foot on a very straight level road....39 MPG! (or was that ever so slightly downhill?)

looks a mess, the owner couldnt even be bothered to clean out of all the crap in there,i,d stay well clear of this

For a W-plate that is very tatty. All sorts of issues from the look of it, starting with the EAS. Key code lockout displayed so someone has been putting the EKA code in wrong or the BECM has had a hissy fit.

If it was working it might be worth a grand or so. In that state? Well.
