Can anyone tell me what the green pull switch does on the auxiliary panel (SWB series 3, petrol). Doesn’t appear to do anything and there are no electrical items without switches so can’t work this out.

Yes, the belt is fine. I thought it was probably the alternator on its way out but will check the contacts. Did 35 miles like it yesterday but it started fine this morning. The alternator appears to be charging even though the light is on.

It was just the switch module. New problems now though. No indicators and the charging light is on up to about 40mph.
