    Zues Timing Gears

Not much customer service there then. Chain? I was just checking to see how competent he was with engines, i'm sure some novices have tried it and made mistakes but he sounds like he's done it right. I cant understand them, there should be nothing that could make gears fail even if there was an...

    Zues Timing Gears

Thinking about fitting some, anyone had any experience with them. There are web sites warning about failures but they are d.i.y fit so many of these could be due to incorrect fitment. Are there any authorised Zues fitters or Land Rover techs that have had experience/problems with them. Thanks...

    TD4 Blow Off Valve

Yours probably already has a bypass valve valve doesn't it?. Bypass valves release the pressure on the intake side and recircs it back to the inlet side of the turbo and keeps the turbo freewheeling to avoid decellerating the turbo as the pressure builds up and is forced back toward the turbo...

I've heard the 2.0 perkins turbo diesel is a good fit, never seen one but no doubt someone has done it. The AA loved those old engines you can get some big mileage out of them without em going wrong, fortrak engines are a bit juicey usually but do last. Riggaz

    Oil Light

Just remember the strainer is just one of a list of things it could be so it might not cure it and it might not be necessary to fit a new one if you flush it but if you have one already i suppose it's one thing off the list, whilst you've got the sump off you could check the big end bearings for...

    Oil Light

A Forte engine flush would disolve any varnish on the pick up strainer pal so no need for a strip down. It can cause low oil pressure because the restriction is before the oil pump and can exellerate wear around the engine and you only need a small amount of laquer / varnish to reduce oil flow...

    Oil Light

Unless your engine has been seriously neglected it wont do it any harm at all. That tends to be the theory of old skool mechanics that think there is big deposits of soot and carbon in the engine keeping it tight and if you flush it these will be cleaned away. The truth is bud since about 1995...
