has anyone put a daihatsu engine and gearbox complete in in a series land rover? apart from the handbrake it all looks fairly straightforward
yup - loadsa peeps - not me - but loadsa others.
I've heard the 2.0 perkins turbo diesel is a good fit, never seen one but no doubt someone has done it. The AA loved those old engines you can get some big mileage out of them without em going wrong, fortrak engines are a bit juicey usually but do last.
