I did I did, better pick up response I'd say. Had to unclip the pipe from a couple of things, tells me it was shortened at some point. Sorry for the delay, i have been very busy cooking, eating and drinking beer.

Sorry @wammers we meant the egr version of engine. That is still the plan, i get off work in 5 minutes.

It is the EGR, and i don't think it is long enough. And it has had a tuning box connected, but I do have spill pipe spare so could replace.

Only reason i said spill is it looks exactly the same as a spill pipe, most of the time yes, it is quite slug like!. Thanks @wammers @Saint.V8 will report back...

Hey guys could anyone tell me where this leak off pipe goes to? It's never been connected since I've had the car, can't see anything obvious, though it's soaked at the end... :/

I don't have too bad a time with VW's, sometimes the smaller variety can be pests, but it's mostly the more expensive Germans that provide the most entertainment.

It's the alternator. Yay. They're not that much tbh, I'll sort it tomorrow. We completed a hi tech fix using a long bar and a club hammer.

Oh this is absolutely possible. But when I was connected to a batter just now, everything worked perfectly again.

Things started going absolutely haywire. Pressing the brake brought up a fault, indicating told me bulbs were out etc. Crazy stuff, losing lights, indicators, then gear selection.

Dead again, now on the a12 :/ AA called. I think cold, I've been using all the electrics a lot recently too, but the general temp hasn't been getting above 1° really. I've had the car 3 years nearly and I've never replaced it, so probably just time. I'd rather it didn't start though than go...

I'll be getting a jump from a mini, so we'll see how it goes!

Hey all, I'm in Stratford, near Westfield, cars dead and won't start. Help!

Changed the alternator belt and a/c belt while I was at it, gave the EGR a good clean and just had time to change the leaky spill pipe from injector 1 to the pump. Thanks @wammers for the advice.

Lol I have no engine trouble, just leaks. I'll get that sorted, thanks. Need to pull one out, some to ColFuels and they had four choices, so definitely need to see the injector s/n.
