Drivers airbag didn't go off

Td5?common on them is the contacts in the starter solenoid burn out,you can buy a repair kit from the likes of paddocks ,island 4x4 etc,simple to fix ,you have to remove starter motor though but a lot cheaper than a replacement

If it was burning oil it would be blue smoke,white smoke is water,probably just condensation building up in the cats and silencers,it will only be burning it off as the exhaust temp rises when reving it more

Could be rear support bearings in gearbox,common for them to wear,look on Ashcroft website r380 rear support bearings ,best to repair it before it damages gears aswell,had to do my 300tdi ones as had a little play in them,

It's ferrules that are rusted the crimped part that clamps the hoses,not very thick steel compared to the rest of the fitting ,I fix quite a lot of mot fail cars with this very problem,stainless fittings for me any day ,don't have to worry about it again

Agree rubber ones will be good enough but the ends will still rust and be an mot failure in the future so full stainless one for me ,if your planning on keeping it for a long long time it's worth the extra £40 surely,

You can buy the stainless steel over braid hose and all the different fittings from demon tweeks,rally design etc,I need to do mine as got an advisory on them,simple to make up yourself

Can you not put 2 inch spacers under the anti roll bar mount and use standard drop links

If it turns out they have not been replaced I have a set of non ace anti roll bars for sale,I live in Fife if your interested

Injectors don't need coding but the Bosch part numbers should all be the same,try googling the numbers on top and see if they are for your engine 0445 is what they start with I think

did you check the oil before or after starting the engine when you filled up with the new stuff?if the filter was empty this could be why as it will hold a fair amount of oil

The easiest way to get the bearing centre off the hub is run a 1mm cutting disc into it you will have to go in at an angle ,watch not go too deep and into hub,once you go as far as possible without cutting the hub,get a sharp chisel into the cut groove and a good smack with a big hammer splits...
