I have a 2000 4.6 , I was going to replace the spark plugs today with a set of NGK BPR6ES ( having read that they are suitable for my engine), so got I my 19mm plug socket ( which fits the BPR6ES) and plugs and set off to swap them over, however the 19mm socket is way to big for the plugs in...

I thought that, but the heads were pretty well chewed up, drilling them out was quick and easy

Tried that but the previous owner had chewed the screw heads up , cant be sure whether he managed to get them out and put them back in (w*%ker) or gave up when he couldn't get them out

Just replaced rear discs and pads on my P38,I had to drill out both disc retaining screws which only took minutes with a new drill bit, Front ones are next on the list.

It was a blade fuse

After looking closely at the motherboard and wiring I could find nothing, so plugged it back in loosely, it powered up and asked for code, I then put my hand on the connectors at the back and gave them a wiggle, still powered, put my finger on the fuse and wiggled, No power, HU back out and...

I pulled the fuse last night to check it after it seemed dead, when I checked it this morning it was powered and asking for code

I will check it out once I have It out, but that seems a plausible cause of the syptoms it has been showing rather than a dodgy wire

I believe it is XQE100240

I cant see a number on it, I will have to remove it to check
